Any experience using KM with Intech button controller?

Has anyone worked with this button controller by Intech (Intech Studio Product: BU16) and KM and can share experiences? I wonder if it works with KM‘s MIDI support.

The web page says it's "USB HID" compatible, so (I think) that means you don't need to use a MIDI trigger, but can use a USB Device key trigger as well, and probably a hotkey trigger also.
