I have one project in the works where I need the iMessage Action - which works surprisingly well on my Side with Monterey and KM v10.2.
My plan is to use Richtext (.rtf) Files because I want to have the possibility of including links (hyperlinks in this case).
One test I made was a rtf text file with this text:
Keyboard Maestro v10.2 iMessage Action Test
This is an IMessage Test with an embedded Link to the Keyboard Maestro Forum
Where the last three words are set up as Hyperlink.
My Test Macro was just a Read a File Action and the iMessage Action.
The first line was entered in the iMessage Action ..
Sending the Text to my iPhone resulted in this:
While the link is fully functional (opens the Forum in Safari), you can see that there is a lot of garbage in the Text …
Is there any chance of a workaround to get clear text without that garbage ?!
Every information and possible solution based on the iMessage Action is welcome.
Please don’t hit me on Pushover… I am aware of this service and I use it but not for this kind of project.
