Application Switcher

I decided to dig into Keyboard Maestro's application switcher and have a few questions that were not addressed in the Wiki based on:

1. The action indicates how / where to configure applications that will always be included but it does not indicate how / where to configure applications that are excluded (which must be possible given the drop-down has an item "Display Excluded".

2. I do not understand the Switch All Windows setting because when I hide multiple Finder windows and then select Finder in the Application Switcher all Finder windows are un-hidden regardless of whether the Switch All Windows is / is not ticked. Please explain as I am clearly missing something.

3. I have the same issue -- I do not see the difference -- whether "enable Mose rollover selection" is or is not selected. I must be missing something.

Apologies for appearing dense on these items but I would like to understand them.

From the Application Switcher Wiki page:

In the Excluded preference pane, you can configure various applications to never be displayed.

I do not understand the Switch All Windows setting because when I hide multiple Finder windows

It's got nothing to do with hiding (and you can't hide windows anyway -- you hide *applications).

With "Switch all windows" ticked the Switcher behaves like the Finder's ⌘⇥ -- all an application's windows will be brought to the front (maintaining their stacking order). When it is not ticked only the frontmost window of the app is brought to the front, so when switching from Safari to Finder you'll get:

   Finder window 1
                  Safari window 1
                  Safari window 2
   Finder window 2

I do not see the difference -- whether "enable Mose rollover selection" is or is not selected.

With "Enable mouse rollover" you don't have to click an app to select -- press and hold ⌘⇥, put the pointer over the icon of the app you want to select, release the keys and that app will be switched to.

It's got nothing to do with hiding (and you can't hide windows anyway -- you hide *applications).

Appreciated and correct, my MSFT Window's day bit me. In macOS one hides applications and minimizes windows.

I will need to test that again because when I tested all of Finder's windows were brought to the front regardless of whether Switch All Windows was / was not ticked. Perhaps Finder is different?

@peternlewis, a quick question, is there any chance you can add the ability to configure the Application Launcher and the Window Switcher to have teh sam display options as the Application Switcher?
