I have noticed certain apps launch automatically even though they are not in my "login list". They are: LastPass, Skype, and MyTuner Radio Pro. There may be some others. They all install icons in the menubar. Any thoughts how to disable auto launch without removing the apps?
They may be using the launchd mechanism

provides a fairly accessible route to inspecting and pruning launchd entries.
Thanks. I can disable the apps using launchctl, but then I have to re-enable the apps before they will run. Not worth it.
