Bluetooth keypad is sending keys when used as a trigger

Found the answer from Peter himself in a very old thread:

USB Device Key triggers can usually differentiate between non-identical keyboards, but they do not swallow the key stroke, so they are not generally useful for keys that have an action already (such as number pad keys)

So it looks like that's out as a solution…guess I'll have to look around for something else.
