I am transitioning to OpenOffice from Word and Excel. Unfortunately in OpenOffice the spreadsheet and writer are in the same app so keeping their macros apart is a problem. Does anyone have a suggestion for a way that KM can tell which piece of OpenOffice is active?
What about the window title -- does it change consistently with some ID of which sub-app is running?
If so, then you could use this trigger: Focused Window trigger.
Bingo - The name of the sub-app is appended to the file name at the top of the screen. As my grandfather used to say, "I it had been a snake it woulda bit you."
