Returned to the computer and noticed that changes I had worked on:

Macros reverted to previous state.

were you gone long enough that your computer went to sleep? I wonder if that triggered the "Display Layout Changes" and caused an issue?
not sure if that caused it.
I have one macro that triggers when Display Layout changes, but it only sets variables, does nothing else.
Oddly enough, the variable that was set still is present, but only in Preferences>Variables
Edit:
Noticed iCloud uploading and downloading about then thousand of files(several GB),
maybe data sync error.
