Can the right-option key be remapped to Enter?

Continuing the discussion from Differentiate left/right modifiers for shortcuts?:

Long time mac user here… from when there was an Enter key to the right of the spacebar.

I used to use Karabiner to map that over, but it’s being a bit weird under Sierra. Can Keyboard Maestro be used to replace right-option with Enter?

No. But see the Karabiner website for information about “Karabiner Elements”. I think it’ll do what you want.
