Can't find image to click on

Hi,

I'm having trouble finding an image to click on using the 'move or click mouse' action. The image is the image of a button on the 1password mini pop-up which unfortunately doesn't accept keyboard shortcuts. To make debugging easier and to rapidly test against, I took a screenshot of the button and look for the image on the screenshot. Anyway, looking for the image on the screenshot or looking for the actual image on the 1password window yields the same result.

I tried the following:

  • locating the image when displayed on the second screen
  • locating the image when displayed on the main screen
  • changing the fuzziness from all the way left to all the way right and anything in between
  • changing the 'matching type'

But my KM 9.0.5 cannot find the image.

Is there anything else I can try?

Thank you in advance

Hi @shako, I myself also use 1Password. Can you tell me when or after which 1Password action these buttons appear on your screen.

The pop-up I'm talking about is the 1Password mini screen: https://support.1password.com/1password-mini-mac/

Finally I think I don't need the KeyBoard Maestro image location function anymore
It turns out that there is a shortcut after all for this action (https://support.1password.com/keyboard-shortcuts/?mac): Option‑Command‑Return. Initially the this shortcut wasn't working for me, as I was pressing the 'Enter' key on my keyboard instead of the 'Return' key.

I will still user keyboard maestro to be able to trigger the action via a different shortcut and let keyboard maestro type the real shortcut

Thanks for the info @shako. I had asked, because I can't find this arrangement of Button on my site.

Here is an example how to create a 1Password autofill in KM, similar to iOS.

  1. The autofill pauses at a locked 1Password Mini until you enter the master password.

  2. The KM macro in action with unlocked 1Password Mini.

I have set up the notifications via the Pushover App for security reasons to be informed about the 1Password login process always and everywhere ( Devices ).

I'm not sure to what I extend I can or will reuse your example, but it definitely inspires me.

Thank for the suggestion @appleianer
