Check 981 files ending in " 2.pdf" for being duplicate files

Thanks for this suggestion.
I tried Gemini and it did work quite well. I had to fiddle with a few files, but it did the job. I had Gemini move the files into a new folder I created and not into the trash.

I am sorry that I did see your macro only after having used Gemini. Nevertheless I installed your macro and tried to make it run with files Gemini removed from a particular folder by copying them back to that folder, then selecting the folder in the Finder and starting the macro from the menu.
The copied duplicate files have the name ending in " 2.pdf", so they should meet the macro criteria.
I can see in KM that the macro gets the correct folder name, but it does not do anything.
Since I am a rookie KM user I don't know how to check what the reason is.

Thanks for all your help and patience.
Although I will not further pursue this possibility I am grateful that you invested your time to help. At least I did learn from your input.
Again thank you.
