Check What a Keyboard Shortcut Has Been Assigned To

I have made a macro with a keyboard trigger of ⌃ F. But when I hit ⌃ F to trigger the macro I’m just getting a bell type sound. So appears that ⌃ F is being used for something else. How can I check what ⌃ F is being used for?

I’m not sure if there is a way to actually search, but one way to resolve your problem is to create another macro that uses Ctrl+F. That would bring up the conflict palette when you trigger the macro and you should be able to see the name of the original macro.

EDIT: I think I misread your question. I’m not sure if there’s a way to search system menus for keyboard shortcuts. That said, keyboard maestro should be intercepting the keyboard shortcut and not letting it go to the system, so maybe somethings up with the macro you wrote?
