Copy Thunderbird for Mac Message (including headers) to Clipboard?

Hello Keyboard Maestro Maestras and Maestros:

I am looking for a script that will copy the entire contents of a message (INCLUDING header information) from the Thunderbird for Mac e-mail application to the clipboard.

There is a Thunderbird "add-on" that kinda/sorta this, but with recent iterations, it introduces a lot of gibberish into the copy/paste.

Previously, one of the tribe posted one for Apple Mail, and it still works beautifully.

Apologies if this topic lives elsewhere. I did a search and could not find it.

Thank you in advance, and stay well,

Paul

Hey Paul,

Sadly Thunderbird has no AppleScript support beyond the standard suite.

That means NO access to anything beyond a very few application properties like so:

tell application "Thunderbird"
   return front window's properties
end tell

You don't have access to any internal objects or commands.
