Different path on laptop and desktop

I created some simple shortcuts to folders I frequently use. The problem is that my home folder has a different name on my laptop and desktop and the macro fails.

/Users/ricky/Dropbox (Personal)/Freelance Law
/Users/patbass/Dropbox (Personal)/Freelance Law

I was going to rename, but got a very scary warning. Not sure if this is the best options?

I’m not sure what you mean by “shortcuts”; since this is a Keyboard Maestro forum, I’m assuming it’s something to do with KM.

Have you tried using the “tilde” version?

Like this: ~/Dropbox (Personal)/Freelance Law
