Given a list of 3 items, I want to check one of them. What actions should I be using?

Not entirely clear what that means, but perhaps something like:

Wow You are fast. Sorry I wanted to be brief. I am filing documents for later use. Each file path should lead to a different folder in DEVONthink. Does your answer still make sense?

{Alpha, Beta, Gamma} could certainly be replaced with file paths.

If it’s not always 1 of 3 (multiple checks) there is also a pattern like:

Thank you. I am working with AI writing this macro. Claude is very confused. I am glad you are human!

Tends to waste a surprising amount of time, alas.

(Even with experienced programmers, it turns out, in controlled tests)

Much quicker to just ask here.

Do you want to present a list that lets you pick one of three places to file the document? Do you want three macros, each of which files the selected document(s) in a particular folder? Something else?

Brevity is good, but it does help if you explain the problem you are trying to solve -- the more assumptions we have to make the more likely we are to be wrong!
