In the release notes for 7.1, it states, “Detect and report Secure Input Mode process.” as a new feature. How does this get reported?
In the Keyboard Maestro status menu (it will have a menu near the top that indicates that Secure Input is on), and in the Keyboard Maestro editor window, bottom left it has a warning triangle if Secure Input is on.
You can see the former by opening the Terminal app, and then turning on terminal ➤ Secure Keyboard Entry, and then showing the Keyboard Maestro status menu - note that Terminal behaves properly and so if you switch out of Terminal the mode will turn off (if the editor is visible in the background the warning triangle will eventually appear, although it takes about a minute as it does not check it very often).
