I have a similar query.
I have a text file with a list of URLs. When I use search and replace action,
it deletes the specified line but creates a blank line.
I want the file to look like this:
It's doing exactly as you ask -- finding that text string and deleting it. If you also want it to delete the linefeed/return at the end of the line, include that in your search text as well. You'll find it more obvious (and so more maintainable) if you use a token rather than hitting the Return key, so your search string would be:
https://www.google.com/search?q=Exercise+15%LineFeed%
