If your dates for Dec 30 and 31 have the wrong year, this is Y

Yes, but is that really a problem?

  • My quick look into what a "week of year" calendar was gave me the impression that only a small fraction of KM users would use Y deliberately.[1]
  • Action warnings have been implemented perfectly; they catch the eye but are not a distraction.
  • I do not recall any complaints about the alert in the Search and Replace action when an asterisk is used under the default string setting, and I would expect the deliberate use of * outside a regex string[2] to be more common that the deliberate use of Y.
