"Insert by typing" doesn't work reliably

Hi, on a new mac I noticed that the "Insert by typing" action doesn't work reliably.

Not sure whether they should have appeared, but there were no macOS dialogs asking for permissions.

What do I need to do?

Keyboard Maestro 10.1.1
macOS 12.5 (ARM64E)

Ok, a second reboot seems to have fixed it.

(I should have added that in those cases where Keyboard Maestro didn't insert the whole string the active app got inactive)
