Is it possible to set the behaviour of the Floating Palette on a 'per App basis'?

Hello all,

Just want to check I’m not missing something.

For a variety of reasons, I would prefer to have the Floating Palette menu stay ‘open’/expanded in (for example) Outlook, but ‘condensed’ in all the others…

Is this possible?
If not - would others support the option to be able to do this?

No, there is no way to do that, but rather than use the Global Floating Palette for that, why not have a Macro Group targeted at Outlook that is configured to display as a Macro Group Palette?
