Just a tip (assuming you are still using LaunchBar):
You can also create symlinks by dragging files onto a LaunchBar-selected folder:
This way you can also create Aliases or Hard Links, or – sometimes a crucial difference – relative symlinks. Alternatively to dropping files it works also via LB’s “Send” (i.e. selecting a file in LB and then sending it to a folder with the Tab key). Works also for multiple selections.
