Keyboard for show application windows

My F3 key shows all windows, but I would like Command F3 to show only application windows. When I try to set that up by choosing Command F3, it shows as CMD? and it doesn't work. Why is that and how can I make it work so that I can easily use the F3 key with a modifier to show only application windows?

In order to use function keys normally with Keyboard Maestro (and other utilities) you need to adjust the following setting in the system keyboard preferences:

Thank you. So if I want to map only one f key, I will lose the direct functionality for all of them. Like to adjust volume I would have to use the Fn key to do that? Is there a way to avoid that?
