Keyboard Maestro Engine running produces black boxes in finder windows that jump around from folder to folder

Hi hive mind! So I'm experiencing "the dancing black boxes" when a finder window is open. It's as if Keyboard Maestro is looking for something on the screen in one of my macros, then highlighting what it finds - but not the usual translucent color when you check the display box in a macro that waits for a found image. Rather, a black box that completely blocks out the folder or file name in an open finder window.

I've tried disabling every macro, but the problem persists. The only fix so far is to quit the Keyboard Maestro Engine.

I have no idea what you mean or what is going on.

Can you post a screenshot (or even a picture of the screen).

If I had to guess, I would actually guess that you are having video hardware issues. Some actions in Keyboard Maestro can cause the Mac to use the high end GPU, and sometimes that finds hardware issues. If it is a hardware issue, then you may nee to get your Mac looked at by Apple.

But this is only a guess, sigh unseen it is hard to know.
