Keyboard typed trigger doesn't work

I was trying to use keyboard typed triggers for this macro which should activate when I type "./date". Nothing happens when I do so. I've tried:

  • Screen recording privacy element is on
  • It works when I click the "try" button on Keyboard Maestro
  • I've tried it on the browser screen, in Text Edit, and also in Obsidian text editor

Is there something extra that you need to do to get keyboard text triggers working?

Without being able to see your macro, I can only guess. But I'm guessing it's a setting on your "Macro Group," which can limit your macro to run only for certain specific apps. So you should check that.
