Mac Quick Notes – Always Select – ‘Keep on Top’

When I open a new quick note on a Mac, I want the menu option Window > Keep on Top to always be selected. At the moment, I have to manually select it when I make a new quick note. Can Keyboard Maestro tick Keep on Top when a new quick note is opened?

Something like this, perhaps? Just create your Quicknote is the usual way, the new note's window title will trigger the macro and set the menu item:

Quicknote with Keep On Top.kmmacros (3.1 KB)

As far as I can see, the quicknote always stays on top once you set it that way, so :man_shrugging:

Interesting -- it doesn't for me. Not even with the (default) "Always resume to last..." checked and re-opening a previously "Keep on Top" Quick Note.

What OS version are you on, @Frankb? I'm still on 13.0.1, which might be the reason for different behaviour.

Could be. I'm on 12.3.1. :slightly_smiling_face:

Many thanks for that.
