Macbook Pro 2012 Trackpad not recognized?

Hello,

I am running Keyboard Maestro 9.0.5 on macOS 10.15.5 on a MacBook Pro mid-2012.

When I select the trigger "This device key:" KM seems to not be recognizing the trackpad as nothing at all happens. This can be reproduced only with the internal trackpad of this machine. The trackpad works however just fine everywhere else.

Any idea how I could fix or if I am doing anything wrong?

I am trying to give as input left and right click with modifiers but also 2 fingers and 3 fingers taps.
