I use the "Move File" and "Copy File" actions to send files between an iMac and a MacBook on the local network.
When I send files from the iMac to the MacBook this way, all file permissions remain unchanged.
When I send from the MacBook to the iMac, the (my) admin entry is changed to "nobody - read & write" so that I always have to change it for editing. The entries for "wheel" and "everyone" remain the same.
These permission modifications do not appear when drag&drop files via screensharing.
Does anyone have any ideas?
System configurations
iMac:
macOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.6
MacBook Air:
macOS Sequioa, Version 15.7.4
Admins on both Macs have the same name.
