Hi, I'm routinely moving windows around using KM. Drafts app windows seem not to respond to the same macros. Any ideas how I can get them to behave themselves?
Thanks.

It's hard to say without seeing what you're working with. Could you share one of the macros that isn't working with Drafts? Also, are you using the free or premium version of Drafts? (This may or may not be relevant depending on what the problem is.)
Sorry, yeah I'm on Drafts Pro too.
Recreating this macro works for my Drafts. If you change the macro to in: Drafts
rather than Front Application
and run the macro from the Keyboard Maestro editor, does it manipulate your Drafts window successfully? Another thing to check, do you possibly have a conflicting hot key in Drafts actions?
Hi, @Terry_Lansdown. I'm also able to move Drafts windows, both the main window and drafts that have been opened in separate windows.
I'm using Version 45.2 (527).
When I have issues with windows, I often use this macro to troubleshoot.
Download: Front Window Characteristics via KM Tokens & AppleScript.kmmacros (6.9 KB)
For comparison, here's what the macro displays for my main Drafts window...
(With the screenshot, the browser token information is obviously not relevant to the question at hand.)
So, although it appears that the Drafts window characteristics cannot be determined using AppleScript (or at least the technique used in the macro), the Keyboard Maestro tokens do return expected information.
Yes, it does, thanks. I'm wondering about a keyboard shortcut conflict, but I don't see one scanning the Drafts menus.
Try checking in Manage Actions...
too. I had some difficulty with Drafts not cooperating when trying to overwrite hot keys at the system level. I'm not sure what exactly is happening, and support was less than helpful. My only solution was to use Keyboard Maestro to set the hot key I want to type the hot key Drafts seems to insist upon. Although, I'm not certain that this is your issue. You could also try deleting the hot key trigger in your macro and readding it...or maybe some cleverer power users here will have a better idea.
[edit] I had also meant to say that I tried using your hot key and didn't have any issues, so it isn't likely a default hot key in Drafts.
Thanks, no luck with Manage Actions (checked all of those). What's odd is if I add an Activate Drafts step, the shortcut doesn't work, but if I add an activate using the Status Menu when Drafts isn't foremost it will move as intended?
Figured it out. Rookie error, the move windows macros were in a Group with Drafts excepted. Apologies all and thanks for your help.
