In our workflow KM accesses files on a Mac Server. Occasionally the Server path does not work. Troubleshooting reveals a "-1" has been added to the Server name (even though the name does NOT in the Finder window, only in the full path).

I did look at those. Sharing is not turned on for the Mac in question.
I was looking at post: Can it really be true that KBM does not have an action to mount a network volume?
With that help I was able to login to the server using the afp address. I found though, it requires user interaction to confirm password and server volume.
What seems to work well (not fully tested) is to auto-open a Server Alias (saved on each computer). This does not ask for user input as long as the password is saved in the Key Chain.
I realize I'm not providing enough information. I'll update when I know more.
