Mutually Exclusive Macro Groups

Is there a way to set one Macro Group to enable which triggers the others in a set to disable?

I have an audio application with many plugin windows which unfortunately do not report any window name. Therefore I cannot make context sensitive hotkeys for these windows.

So I have turned to Macro Groups to enable some actions. If I set one plugin to enable I have to set ALL the others to disable. While this is possible it does not scale well.

Have you considered using Palettes (KM Wiki)?
Put the macros for each plugin in a separate Macro Group, which is activated ONLY when the palette is shown. Something like this:
