I would like a macro to prompt me for input for a variable, but the input is 300 words or so, with LF’s and CR’s. I don’t seem to be able to paste that into the variable field. Is it possible?
It is possible; I just confirmed it with a 380 word block of text with many line breaks. However, you won’t be able to see every line of the text in the prompt’s input field, so you may want to confirm that it was entered correctly in a subsequent Display Text action or the Variables pane in KM’s preferences. If you want to be able to see all of the text entered in the prompt when pasting it, I’m afraid the only solution may be a Custom HTML Prompt.

Doh. My test example had a blank line at the end, so I thought it just wasn’t accepting the input. A display test would have been a good idea. That’s perfect. The text should already be formatted and so not a problem. I was just looking at the HTML option, that’s interesting too. Thanks again.
