A late response. If you are using KM 11, this works. I'm sure you can easily have a Prompt with List to set an application variable where zoom.us is.

Ah, that explains it! I didn't realize anything still needed to be open. I've switched around the steps, and everything is working seamlessly now. Thank you, @cdthomer and @Airy. ![]()

Weirdly, the "open preference pane" action isn't working reliably for me; sometimes the correct/indicated preference pane is opening, but sometimes a wrong preference pane is opening. Weird.
In any case, the other approach I came to seems to do the trick, so I'm good here. But nice to know that this action exists.
