Hey guys,
I’m relatively new but keep running into the issue that when I program things all screens sortof zoom out the second time I run a command - similar to the way it would when mission control gets triggered. I’ve already read through some forums to turn off mission control keycommands etc. It seems like it often happens when there’s arrow keys in commands. I thought I turned off all the reasons why it could happen but I must’ve missed something since it still gets triggered. Anyone familiar with that? Any advice how I can turn that off? It seems to mostly happen when apps are not in full screen. It will only show all current windows of the app that’s open, so not everything like in the usual mission control way.
Do you mean that it happens when a running macro contains a type a keystroke action for an arrow key? If so, first find out which macros those are and take note of which modifiers are used.
Check again that no key shortcut is assigned to Mission Control. System Settings > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Mission Control.
If I have not correctly understood the issue, please try to describe it again precisely, using the standard KM terms (“macros”, “actions” etc.—“running a command” is vague because it could mean one of several things). Also state which actions you mean, and what is in them.
Yes exactly, sorry for the confusion about the wording. You were absolutely correct, it was happening when the type a keystroke action was triggerd inside a macro and that keystroke would contain an arrow key. The Adjust modifiers part (unchecking function) solved it! Thanks a ton!
