That's a good idea, but in my use-case I am recording into Audio Hijack from a microphone and want to manually split each reading into its own audio file so I can edit each one separately. Some of them are only 1 minute long, some could be 5, so there's no way to tell when I would need it to be split (I have a button on my Stream Deck called “Split” which does this for me.
