This palette displays fine in icon view and blurs when expanded from shrink view.

Never mind, it's a palette of macros; too early to be replying :).
I have no idea what's going on, but how many items are in the palette?

28 items (00-26 and -3). 00-26 add that number to the beginning of the selected Finder item, and -3 removes the first three characters of the selected Finder item as an undo of the other additions.
The icons came from the internal icon picker or brough over from SF Symbols.
I wonder if palettes have a max width? I don't use them much; can you drag-resize it?
