I thought I would post this anyway since I found the answer to my question after over an hour of struggling. I didn't realize/forgot that delete past clipboards setting it to a value of 1, 2 or anything greater doesn't delete the last clipboards back 1, 2, or 3 times and instead just removes one in that place. I needed to repeat delete clipboard 0 two times.
I had tried to put it in other saved clipboards and recalling it from there and using multiple saved clipboards. What I knew since Peter had explained this is it always has to go into the System Clipboard in order to go into a saved clipboard.
I am posting this here still since I didn't see this specifically and this macro might help someone (probably future me 
) .

Just as I was posting this question I realized my blunder. Nice to solve my own questions before I even post. Too bad I didn't start to ask 15 minutes in.
I still don't know why the font size changes from 12 to 16, but that is not as big of an issue as not having the same thing in my last clipboard before I ran the macro.
