Here's a rough, but fully working means to curate your local Spotify files that you have stored on your mac. If like me you pinch music of youtube to save in dropbox, then this is a means to update the ID3 tags so you can find it a bit easier in the local files section of Spotify.
Needs homebrew and id3tag installed ( it will bail if these aren't present )
