Text to image PNG Question

I have been making a Roman Numeral Watermark macro for my Work. I’m almost done only question is it possible to convert text into image PNG.

First things that come to mind are:

  • ImageMagick (install through Homebrew)
  • Preview.app > Tools > Annotate > Text

or KM's Composite (text) onto Image action ?

Also available through Macports.

** Note: Macports and Homebrew are command-line package managers for installing Unix Executables on OSX. (Xcode is required for Macports — Homebrew I expect also requires it.)

I'm certain GraphicConverter will do the job — probably will do batch jobs — and possibly will let it be done via AppleScript as well.
