Textexpander communicating too much with KM

I loaded more than 10,000 words into Textexpander to be used for medical transcription. Then, I opened KM. It began to communicate with textexpander and would not stop. I finally turned off the computer. Now I am afraid to open up KM to find out what was happening.

All I can say is “What?”

Keyboard Maestro does not communicate with TextExpander.

Maybe you had some macro go awry, or some weird configuration in TextExpander or who knows. Lots of people use TextExpander and Keyboard Maestro together, so I really have no idea what you’re describing I’m afraid.

@Ellenm,
I'm one of those people, and have never had any interaction issues between TextExpander and Keyboard Maestro.

Here is the screenshot of the popup. The number changes several times a second.
Shucks, don’t see a way to select a screenshot.

What number changes?

Shift+Command+3 will take a screenshot to disk.

Hey Ellenm,

All you have to do is drag the file into the Keyboard Maestro forum editor.

If you’re the kind of person who has dozens of open Finder and Safari windows all over the place, I recommend Yoink :wink:

I can guess from the “The number changes several times a second” that you are getting is the “JavaScript is disabled in Safari” message introduced by the security theatre feature in 10.11.5’s Safari.

See: Safari Actions Not Working

See if that is your problem.
