Trigger on change in finder selection?

What would it take to get a trigger for "Finder Selection Changed"

Welcome to the forum!  

You can't.

You can use a timed trigger to poll the Finder selection with AppleScript, but 0.2 - 0.4 seconds per cycle is a lot of overhead.

I would not want to do it on my system.
