Troubleshooting Macro Sync?

I tried searching in the Wiki (to figure out how to do this) and the forum (for figuring out what I'm doing wrong), but I couldn't find what I was looking for. I just got a new (to me) Macbook, and I am trying to get my macros from my old Macbook onto this one using the 'sync' feature. My 'original' Mac is High Sierra 10.13.6, KM version 8.2.4; my new one is Mojave 10.14.5, KM version 8.2.4. I installed KM on this new device using my original registration number.

On the 'original' Mac, I'm going to File > Start Syncing Macros, Create New, selecting my Dropbox folder as the stored location, and my Dropbox on that computer shows the synced Macro 'file'. However, on my (online) Dropbox account, there is no evidence of such a file, and when I go to my new Mac to 'import' the synced macros ('Open Existing' or whatever the term is), it also does not show the file. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated. I'm not opposed to exporting the macros, but I can't find a way to not do that one by one? But I didn't look into that in depth yet because syncing sounds easier haha.

Any help appreciated!

Update: I successfully imported my whole macro library into my new comp. Woop! Still no clue why the sync didn't work, but oh well.
