Under Prefrences > Variables, which lists global variables, it is possible to see the value of only one variable at a time.
Suggestion: arrange the display as a table, with the variables in the first column and the corresponding values in the second column.
Some sort of “more…” mechanism would be needed for multiline values.
There are other macros on this site that address your issue. E.g., try searching for " Variable Inspector Prompt and Dictionary Editor v3.2a".
I had a feeling that would be the case, but I stand by the suggestion that improving the “native” display would be worthwhile, so users do not have to resort to finding suitable macros for ordinary usage.
