Using TextEdit as a Scratch Pad

Hey Folks,

I use TextEdit most of the time as a scratch pad for rich text.

Here's my macro for launching it along with the scratch pad document.

Note that:

  • The scratch pad document must be installed on your system somewhere.
    • Change the path to it in the macro as necessary.
  • The scratch pad window is resized to my preference.
    • Change the size and position as desired.

Chris, what is benefit of .rtfd format for note taking?

If/when I paste images in it I need to be able to save them.
