Variable: Applescript to KM

I can't seem to be able to paste a variable from an Applescript to KM.

Do I have a bug or am I on a completely wrong path?

Very close. Try it this way (had to change your trigger and variable names):

While KM variables can certainly be set entirely within AppleScript, I personally find it easier to return the results and save them in a variable more directly:
