Is there a way to create a new folder containing the Finder-Selection using a keyboard shortcut?
If you have some number of items selected in the Finder, the built-in Mac shortcut is Command-Control-N to put the selected items into a new folder. Or do you mean something else?

Hey @zaint_see,
Welcome to the forum!
@NaOH has you covered for the easy way to do this.
But – yes Keyboard Maestro is capable of doing the same thing, and you can personalize the new folder name with a date-stamp or however you like.
No – this feature is not built-in – you'll have to create a macro.
The job can also be done with AppleScript, and Keyboard Maestro can run the AppleScript for you.
