Access to system-wide “Use selection for find”?

When using a non-Mac-standard IDE (PyCharm), I would like to make up for its non-support of the global “Use selection for find” register by defining a Keyboard Maestro shortcut to paste its value.

Apologies if this has been answered here already; finding “find” or even “"find"” is surprisingly difficult, even with Advanced Search.

As luck would have it, KM includes a token that can easily be used to do exactly what you want:
