Application Moves Back After Move and Resize Front Window

I'm creating some social media video tutorials and am having KM Move and Resize Front Window of InDesign to my right-hand (third) monitor, which is 9:16 vertical. The initial move works great with the below action, but if I click away from InDesign and then select it again, it moves itself back to my main monitor, which is 16:9 landscape. Not ideal when moving between InDesign, Screenflow for the recording, Word for the notes, and Finder for the lesson files.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

I can suggest a solution, but it may not be the best solution. My suggestion is that you could add a trigger that will run a macro to move the InDesign window to the other display whenever InDesign is activated.

Of course, I would agree it would be better if we figure out why it's moving back. Did you check your Engine's log file to see if a macro was triggering whenever it was moving back to the main display? If you can see a culprit, we can figure out what made it move to the wrong monitor.

As @Airy says, the best solution would be to stop whatever is doing the move back from triggering. Is it something in this macro? (It'll help if you post the whole thing rather than an image of a single action.) Are there other macros that fire when InDesign becomes frontmost? Does the Engine log give any clues?

Are you using Spaces (which might confuse the issue)?

Thanks for the replies. There wasn't anything in KM or another external application moving InDesign.

It seems to be specific behavior to InDesign 2024. Neither InDesign 2023, 2025, nor the next beta have the same behavior. So, I'm just going to use v.2025 rather than troubleshoot the version-specific issue when I don't need to use that particular version.
