Application Switcher No Longer has all selected applications

Hi, All of sudden the Application Switcher is behaving differently. It not longer includes the applications I select in "Always include these application". Any ideas on how to get it to behave like it used to?

My first guess is that you are now using the macOS app switcher instead of the KM version. (They can look similar.) Does your app switcher still say "Keyboard Maestro" at the top?

Hey! Thanks for the reply. My app switcher still says "Keyboard Maestro" at the top.

Then my first guess was wrong, obviously. My second guess is that your apps that you are including the in action have moved to a new folder and therefore cannot show up in the action. I suggest that you delete them from your action and re-create them.

I thought the same thing. Recreated from scratch. The problem is still there.

Well, I'm running out of ideas, but sometimes rebooting fixes things. You may have recently patched macOS or something and sometimes these updates require one extra reboot. You don't have to try this if you don't want to, but there's a 5% chance it will fix your problem.

I noticed the other day an application that was running wasn't in the KM Application Switcher, I've disabled it for now, but I'm missing it too.

Click an hold on any icon, and you'll get a contextual menu including options of what is and is not shown.

Re-enable Display Always Included

Likely you pressed a when the window was up, which is the toggle for that option.

Thank you! That was it. I had no idea the contextual menu was even there.
