Application Switcher's "Always include these applications" feature doesn't show inactive applications

I’m using Application Switcher’s “Always include these applications,” feature, and suddenly doesn’t show the inactive applications that I have on my always-show list. I restarted my Mac and still no joy. I did a Quit Engine and restarted it. I toggled all the other Active Application Switcher settings back and forth. Nothing seems to bring this feature back. I’m not sure what I was doing when it happened.

I am on a MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), Yosemite 10.10.5 (14F1713), 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7, 6 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, etc.

What can I do to get this feature working again? I use it a lot. THANKS
