Can KM or AppleScript get 'at' the following system prefs in Ventura?
Start Screen Saver when inactive
Turn Display off when inactive
Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off
IDLE function
Start Screen Saver action
Sleep Screen action
That is a system setting for whether the password in needed when the screen is saving or locked or after however long.
Hey @peternlewis, I should have been clearer.
I would like to set up a KM macro that would:
1 - Set - Start Screen Saver when inactive - to 'Never'
2 - Set - Turn Display off when inactive - to 'Never'
2 - Set - Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off - to 'Never'
And I would like to set up another KM macro that would:
1 - Set - Start Screen Saver when inactive - to 'For 5 Minutes'
2 - Set - Turn Display off when inactive - to 'For 20 Minutes'
2 - Set - Require password after screen saver begins or display is turned off - to 'After 5 Minutes'
There is a menu bar app I use called 'Amphetamine' that has many different sleep/screensaver options.
Maybe you could use this app and have KM move and click mouse for you to accomplish your settings.
I have no macros programed myself for this, but seems like it might work.

thanx for the reply @Steve_E , I keep my app list down to a dull roar, updates, compatibility, etc etc...
No biggie, I'll just do it... ... manually!! OMG! LOL
Cheers
The only way I know to do that stuff is via UI control.
And I expect turning off Require Password would in turn require a password, making the process pretty challenging.
