Can I clear my notifications under my name

I always log out when I am done with the forum. However, as I get more notifications the logout button is hard to reach. Is there a way to clear those notifications under my profile photo?

Why?

In the Hamburger Menu, at the bottom you will see an entry for Keyboard Shortcuts, and in that display you can see that you can press shift-Z shift-Z to log out.

It is a habit to log off everywhere and you are absolutely right. No need for the forum probably.

Log in and out will do nothing to your personal information security, it's unnecessary.

It can be important on a public Mac or if you share a computer.
